This month’s May 2026 clothing purchases definitely had a theme. I apparently had coastal and beachy styles on my mind without even realizing it at first. Between two different Shein campaigns and a really fun mix of summer prints, a lot of the pieces I added leaned into ocean-inspired colors, lemons, shells, fish prints, and easy breezy fabrics.
Most of these pieces were c/o from Shein, which helped keep my spending extremely low this month. I also found one really cute THML embroidered top at Goodwill that immediately came home with me. For under $6, it felt like one of those easy summer finds I know I’ll wear a lot.
What I like most about these May 2026 clothing purchases is how easy everything is to mix and match. The striped pants work with several of the tops, and the linen and sleeveless pieces will be great once the weather gets really hot here. It feels like I added a lot of wearable summer outfits without actually adding much to my budget.

- Green crochet trim shirt
- Blue button down
- Floral pinktuck top
- White pants

One thing I always appreciate about Aventura’s collections is how well everything coordinates without feeling overly matchy. Since I’ve been an ambassador with them for years, I get to select pieces twice a year from their spring/summer and fall/winter launches, and I always end up choosing items that mix easily into my everyday wardrobe. This season, I leaned into soft coastal colors, lightweight textures, and versatile separates. I picked blue striped pants, white pants, blue gauze shorts, a blue button down, two lightweight sweaters in white and green, a green crochet trim tee, a floral pintuck top, a yellow floral top, and an easy midi dress. Everything works together so effortlessly, which makes creating outfits and packing for trips so much easier.
