Thrifted Finds, Clearance Deals & Fall Fashion
My October 2026 purchases were a mix of amazing clearance finds, thrifted treasures, and a little DIY! I had some great luck at Goodwill this month, finding several brands I love at bargain prices. I also tried a DIY project I’d been seeing everywhere—an obi belt made from men’s ties! There were two perfect ties at Goodwill and I sewed them together in about 20 minutes. For just $4.51, I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! I’m already planning to make more.
Walmart’s summer clearance was another unexpected win. I stopped in after work for a few things and couldn’t resist browsing the clearance racks. Just $3.24 later, I walked out with three colorful dresses! They probably won’t get much wear until warmer weather returns, but I’m hoping they’ll be perfect for a spring break trip.
I also received a few gifted pairs of shoes from Cosy Island this month. Their shoes are incredibly comfortable, and I now own the heeled knee-high boots in every color they offer! I wear them constantly throughout fall and winter. I’m especially excited about the new wedge booties. The light chocolate brown shade is so versatile, and the wedge heel makes them comfortable and easy to wear.
Overall, I’m really pleased with my October 2026 purchases. Between the thrift store finds, clearance deals, and DIY project, I added some fun pieces to my wardrobe without spending much! Looking ahead to November, I’m on the hunt for a great pair of straight-leg jeans. I already have wide-leg and barrel-leg styles that fit well, but I’m still missing a pair of straight-leg jeans I truly love. Fingers crossed November is my month!
