When I buy clothing, I like to know I am going to get as much value from it as possible. That means as low a price as possible, a classic piece, good quality, and the ability to wear it multiple ways. With dresses sometimes that can be difficult. There is always the possibility of wearing a dress as a top with a skirt over it, as a skirt with a top over it, and as a dress, but that only works with some dresses. I like to pay more attention to the dress itself and see if I can switch it up with different color accessories, cardigans, blazers, or scarves. This is a particularly good one for remixing because it goes with so many colors, the length would work with boots, and there isn’t any top detail that would make layering a sweater over top look odd.
What do you look for when buying a dress to make sure it is versatile?
