This year has been the year of weddings. We have been to three since late June. My brother’s was the most recent. He got married just over a week ago. I typically invest in a formal dress once every couple years. Because formal dresses are more expensive pieces and don’t get worn often, I always look for a classic style so ideally, I will eventually have a nice selection of formal dresses for weddings and events that I can choose from. I wanted a new dress for my brother’s wedding and luckily had some credit to thredUp ($20 referral code here), so after much deliberation settled on this one from Tracy Reese. The colors and lace overlay was a little out of my style, but my husband convinced me. And I am so glad he did. I love the look of it and it was perfect for my brother’s big day.
