This month was full of cozy, warm layers. Well, except for those heels I got on crazy clearance! January is definitely not a time when I can contemplate spring clothing so bring on the sweaters. After looking for a pair of combat boots for quite a while, I finally found the Steve Madden ones. I jumped on the DSW sale at the beginning of January and with an extra $20 in rewards got them for a great price. I didn’t need another pair of black heels, but when I was in the store browsing with my husband after Christmas I found that pair. I had seen them last time I was at DSW, but decided against them. When I found them there again and marked down even farther I knew they were meant to be.
The remaining items were all gifted to me. I have been wanting more tunic tops and was fortunate to be able to find some that definitely fit the bill. Sometimes online stores can be hit or miss, but all these items are definite hits! I was impressed with the quality and fit of them all. Even when I get c/o items I really try hard to get items I would actually buy. When I show items on my blog, I actually wear them. So gifted items should be in line with my personal style. I do not want to recommend anything just for the sake of style, or fashion, or getting something free!
For next month, I would like some lace up flats. They are everywhere now and so adorable! I am also thinking of taking advantage of winter clearance and buying a colored or patterned winter coat (something like this blue one or this blush one). Currently I have a camel and black one. It would be a fun alternative to neutrals!
