I took some time and went through some of my clothes to donate and sell what I am not wearing anymore. There are still some sections to go through, but it was nice to make some room, because I got some fun c/o tops and sweaters this month! During Black Friday sales I added some items to Old Navy cart and my husband ordered it all for me as a surprise! I ended up keeping it all except a black dress I had with ruffles on the shoulders-it was cute but not on me. My shoulders are too wide for any emphasis like ruffles on them! Another reason you will rarely see me in cap sleeves (shudder).
The vests and cardigans make really nice cozy layers. I have worn some of them several times this month. I was thrilled to see that Old Navy had white puffer vests this year because mine (from college) finally needed to be replaced. They are sold out online, but might restock or be in store. A vest is perfect forlayering over a sweater for a cute, casual outfit or travel day!
The Koolaburra UGG boots are amazing! And I got them for such a deal with my DSW rewards/coupons. I have been wearing them when I walk Claire to/from school and they are really warm. I also don’t worry too much about getting them dirty because they weren’t that pricey (although I did waterproof them). My daughter has the version with the bows and she loves hers!
For next month I would like to get some jeans. I haven’t purchased jeans in over a year and I need a new light wash and possibly another medium wash version. Fingers crossed I have some luck! I hope you all had a Merry Christmas!
