I can’t believe we’re already heading into November! Avie’s birthday party is later today, and we’ll celebrate again as a family on her actual birthday next week. She requested soup for her birthday dinner, so of course that’s on the menu!
I’ve been browsing Pinterest for recipes to try over the next two weeks, and Matt and I occasionally find some good ones through Instagram Reels, too. Where do you find your recipes? One frustrating thing I’ve noticed lately is the number of seemingly AI-generated recipes popping up on Pinterest. The ingredients don’t match the photos, measurements are missing, or something just doesn’t add up. I’m all for a little AI help, but you’ve got to check the work!
Anyway, for Menu Planning 11/1-11/14/26, I’m still embracing all the cozy fall flavors, from savory comfort foods to cinnamon and spice-filled desserts. I’m not ready to move on from fall food just yet! How about you?
- 11/1-11/7
- 11/8-11/14
- Crunchy Chickpea Salad
- Savory Cheese Stuffed Banana Pepper Soup*
- Doner Kebabs (can make meat in slow cooker-low for 8 hours)
- Homemade pizza
- Molasses Ginger Cookie Bars*
Let’s Discuss!
- Cinnamon Pie with Apple Cider Meringue– Matt loved this! I thought the cinnamon flavor was fantastic as well. I didn’t taste much apple cider, but still worth making!
- French Onion Orzo with Chicken– This has amazing flavor! We grilled the chicken and topped the orzo with it. I liked it that way. Next time I will serve with garlic bread. The recipe is really annoying though. You have to view an ad for 30 seconds to see it so I recommend taking a screenshot because every few minutes it made me view the add again.
That’s a wrap on Menu Planning 11/1-11/14/26! I’m looking forward to trying a few new recipes and squeezing in more cozy fall baking before the holiday season takes over. Have you tried any great recipes lately? I’d love some recommendations, especially if they’re family-friendly and perfect for cooler weather!
