The last menu planning post did not have many new recipes in it because we had so many activities planned. I wanted to stick to tried-and-true dinners. Claire asked me to make Fry Bread Tacos and Crepes for dinner. Both of these are family pleasers because each of us can add what we like most. We even did dessert crepes afterwards. And they keep well in the fridge afterwards. Just place a bit of wax paper or a paper towel in between each crepe when you store them.
One new recipe I did make Churro Cheesecake Bars for dessert. While I have eaten these before, I haven’t made them. Oh my goodness! They did not disappoint. The entire house smelled so good while they were baking and for hours afterwards. They are very easy and quick to put together as well.
These next two weeks Aveline chose both desserts and is hoping to make them. Dump cakes are great recipes for kids to try and contribute to family meals! We found a few new recipes like the wonton soup and salmon bites bowls we are excited to try, too.
