Another day, another outfit with plaid pants. These pants are fabulous with grey, ivory, and navy. This time I paired navy and camel together. Plaid patterns typically have so many colors woven in they can be matched with a wide variety of colors and still be complimented by the standard neutrals.

I mentioned a while ago I had purchased the same pair of pants for my daughter. She loves wearing them! Nevertheless, even knowing Old Navy made them in smaller sizes, I was still surprised to see a student at my school wearing a pair! She had a red top on and I couldn't help but be reminded inspiration comes in the funniest of places. I would have thought red too bold to pair with these already bold pants, but it was really cute! Hopefully when I try it I can pull it off as well as a first grader!
Where do you find your inspiration?

  2. I remember when you got those pants. Didn't you brave a snowstorm or something and get a really good deal on them? They cute and I have a pair of plaid cropped pants and you're right, they go with so much. They would look great with red and you should try it. I love to wear bold color shoes with mine. As always, you look great.

  5. Such a great outfit and my favorite is how well your bag goes with those pants! Camel is such a great neutral, it really works with toning down the plaid pants!
