Total: $350.52 + $39 from ebay sales
Revised Total: $311.52
I know, I know. I am cringing as I write that total. There were several big purchases I made this past month that added up to one big total. In the end it came down to opportunities. Many of these items I wanted for a while and I had the opportunity to purchase them for slightly less this month. Good thing I had a reserve of funds!
I tried to talk myself out of the puffer vest so many times, but in the end I caved. There are so many ways to remix it though, I think it will be a good purchase. It's already been worn twice in the week I've had it! I had purchased a fair isle sweater from J.Crew Factory early in the month then happened upon the gorgeous jeweled one from last season on Poshmark for $15 more. This season's went back to the store and the Poshmark one was soon on its way to me! You just can't compete with jewels. I am very excited about the plaid dress from Oasap, too. The long sleeves and colors are so perfect for fall! I've also been drooling over Tory Burch flats for over a year. I am not quite sure if I should keep them though. I have fat feet so I sized up and they are a bit long on me. Anyone know how much they stretch out?
I have a couple thoughts for next month purchases. I would like a cocktail dress for holiday parties, pair of leather heels, and maybe a gold ring or Michael Kors watch.

  1. My revas stretched quite a bit over time, but I remember at first mine were terribly uncomfortable and tight. I'm always impressed with your self control when it comes to shopping and you always manage to pick up a lot for just a little :)

Hope you have a great weekend!

  2. I would love to hear how you set your budget again. I know I read it last year but I need a refresher. I am setting new goals for myself and want to get ideas from other bloggers. Sometimes you break your budget with a key piece that you will wear a lot. I think that is ok(: Happy Halloween! Susan

  6. I LOVE EVERYTHING YOU GOT. The vest and fair isle sweater are gorgeous and I love both pairs of stilettos? How did you get those for one penny each on DSW? I want to know your secret.

Happy Halloween to you guys. What will Claire dress up as?

  7. Claire is an elephant today. :) And those shoes were both on clearance for $50 with an additional 80% off (I always look for the yellow stickers=80%!) making them $10 and then I had two $10 coupon off anything making them a penny each. It was awesome!

  12. I can totally relate some months I cringe thinking about the amount of money I've spent on must haves items. I think every time I take a hiatus from shopping over shop when I finally do. These are all great buys!

  16. I would rather not total mine..even though I didnt shop any big amounts, I really didnt need to shop atall but I still did, except for a few necessary refills in my makeup boxes! But anyways, I have been wanting the TB flats for a while too, saw them at the rack and passed them over and ever since have been repenting.Hopefully the thanksgiving sales will do me some good..I am trying to be good till then...sigh.

  18. Thank you SO much for letting me know! I am returning them and sizing down. I was so on the fence about the fit and I really appreciate your opinion! When you pay that much for shoes you want them to be just right!

  19. I will try and remember to describe in a post next week!

  20. Love the dress and sweater. I get super annoyed with shoes that don't fit perfectly so I'd return them. But that's just my craziness about how things fit!

  21. I love the vest on you! Also, who doesn't love a jeweled sweater?! :) How do you like the TB flats? I have seen them all over and have always wondered about comfort level?

  23. Lots of great finds! $60 is a really amazing deal on that vest--I would have bought it too!
I'm hoping for a Michael Kors watch for my annivesary/birthday/Christmas (they're all clustered close together!).

  24. Honestly I am returning them for a smaller size so I really couldn't tell you right now. :( I have heard they can be tight at first, but once you break them in they are very comfortable!

  25. love the striped vest, and I have no doubt you will wear it a ton more and it will turn out to be a very worthwhile purchase. Plus, I wouldn't cringe too much at the total, you got a lot of good pieces and a gorgeous pair of flats!
