I took the opportunity to scope out some of the sales this weekend with Matt. We stopped off at the mall first. I finally found some nude heels that will be perfect for work and blue wedges (can't find them online; similar here and here) at Payless. We headed over to DSW and I found the most amazing deal! There were tons of shoes on clearance and I found a pair of snakeskin heels 80% off and with my $5 birthday coupon they were $5! The only clothes I got were from Banana Republic Factory. They were having a 50% off sale and had quite a few cute shorts. I tried on a floral and plaid pair, but only got the plaid pair...and I've worn them twice already so I think it was the right choice. I also placed an order online with Old Navy for 3 different pairs of white shorts. I ended up returning the J Crew ones I got because they were too big and I didn't want to settle. I am hoping one of the Old Navy pairs works out. Did you take advantage of any of the sales?

  1. I took advantage of the sales this weekend too. I got some blouses at Express, and then Old Navy got me when I went in to make returns. Great outfit, this skirt is so fun!

  4. What a deal on those heels! Surprisingly, we did not shop all weekend. I don't know if that's a good thing or if I'm going to regret missing all those great sales! Love the pink stripes and chambray combo!

  16. I did hit up the Banana Republic sale this weekend only to buy the two tanks I just bought in store for half the price of what I paid for them. Score! I've been waiting for American Eagle to have a good sale and they finally did this morning so I bought a few things I've been waiting for. Does that count?

By the way, I love your skirt!

  31. This skirt is the prettiest you own and I love how you styled it here and for the 4th of July. Are those flats in multi-colored sequins? I used to own some identical ones by Old Navy. And the Snakeskin Stilettos you linked to are stunning!!
