Confident Twosday: Black Maxi

Tank-Target (similar, similar) | Dress-Target (similar, similar) | Shoes-Steve Madden (similarsimilar | Necklace-amazon.com (option, option)

I was thinking of additional ways to remix my black maxi this summer and had a duh moment. I wanted to keep it cool because it was warm that day so I added some color underneath with my purple tank. It also helps to smooth out some things, too! And don't forget to check out my Q&A with Lauren at Style Elixir today!

Today Linda from A Labour of Life is guest hosting Confident Twosday! She has adorable outfits and I love her sense of style and use of color. Linda has so many cute clothes and always looks classy and put together. Make sure you check her blog out!

  3. The first thing I noticed was the pop of color from the tank underneath this gorgeous maxi! I do the same thing, add a little extra color to an outfit by layering a colorful tank.

  7. Brilliant idea adding that bright tank underneath the maxi. It is good that both necklines are the same. The necklace picks up the colors of the tank, also. And what a nice surprise to see you on Style Elixir's blog today. Congrats!!

    P.S. Love Linda's Colorful Style also. Great co-host. =)))

  26. You look great in this maxi dress, Laura! I'm afraid I can't really wear dresses like this because my body is a little too...soft...for them, haha. I love how you added the purple tank underneath. The little sliver of purple peeking out is great!
