Can I Get a Hurray?!

Dress-H&M (similar, similar) | Jacket-Kohls (similar, similar) | Shoes-Converse (exact, cute lavender!) | Bracelets-DIYed (see here) | Necklace-won

With my black Converse fairly out of commission I was on the hunt for some new ones when we were at the outlet mall this weekend. I found exactly what I was looking for with these and they seem to fit even better than my old ones! (I have kind of fat feet and these seem wider.) I am excited to find a pair of casual, comfortable shoes that don't look like I am about to go running. For some reason spending so much time in running shoes throughout my life created an aversion to wearing them daily. I will be wearing them to my last day of school tomorrow for field day though! Can I get a HURRAY?!

  1. You can't go wrong with a pair of white converse! This outfit is adorable. I don't know if it's because my feet are so long and narrow, but I just don't feel like I can pull off wearing mine with a dress. You look great in yours though!

  2. Hooray for your new Converse Sneakers (styled beautifully for your first time - I must add) and especially for the last day of school! I want to re-create this Outfit with my cute colorful Keds (from yesterday's post). I want white Converse Sneakers exactly like yours or Inge's though. =)

  12. You get two hurrays for me, one for being out of school and another for your adorable outfit. I have a maxi with stripes just like in your dress and am planning to wear it with a jeans jacket. So, great minds...? LOL. Also loving your converse. I will have to see how they look on me with a skirt before I decide to go that route. I'm afraid they might give me a sort of Russian peasant woman look. (No offense to any Russian peasant women, in case there are any reading Claire's blog! )

  13. You look ridiculously cute here! I have been wanting a pair of white converse myself, but given how little I wear the blue pair I have, I feel like I shouldn't.

  15. What a cute and comfy outfit! I've never owned a pair of Converse sneaks, but you're making me think I should give them a try--I like that they're somewhere between my old running shoes and flats.

  16. I want a maxi with stripes and have been looking for one without a fold over waist. I bet yours is cute and will look really good with a jean jacket! I know what you mean about pairing some items with long skirts though, it can be a bit tricky at times!

  20. Striped dress + denim jacket + sneakers is pretty much my go-to lately (except that with temperatures int he 90s this week we're ditching the jackets...). Can't go wrong with this, and it's even better with the wider bold stripes of your dress. So cute!
