I've had this lace top for a while, but never worn it to work. I couldn't quite figure out how to wear it other than a camisole underneath. Then I saw a post Steph from White Coat Wardrobe did where she wore a lace top over a button up. I thought it was a great way to make what would typically be a date night shirt for me into something more work appropriate. The collar of my shirt also adds some detail to the outfit as well as my patterned tights. As it gets colder, a blazer might be another good layer for this outfit!

I felt a little weird about pairing these colors together at first since they were my high school colors. The striped shirt and scarf helps to break up the colors so I don't look so "I've got spirit!" Well, at least that was the idea.
