Scarf Obsession

Sweater-Target (similar, fun option) // Pants-Deliah's (similar, similar) // Boots-Etienne Aigner via (similar) // scarf-souvenir from Mexico // earrings-gift

I seem to collect scarves when I go on trips. It isn't on purpose, but the vast majority of my slightly embarrassing amazing scarf collection have been purchased while on vacation. This is probably due to several reasons. There are so many unique options that you can never find anywhere else. They hold a special memory. And they are cheaper. All the scarves I have purchased in England, Italy, Ireland, and Mexico have been less than $10. Target ain't got nothin' on that!

This was one I got on a vacation to the Cooper Canyon my parents took us on for their wedding anniversary a few years ago (Happy Anniversary in a few days Mom and Dad!). I like how the blue/purples compliment each other and stand out against my white and silver sweater. It's so warm and thick, too!

  1. I think scarves are the perfect souvenir, you can keep the memory in a timeless piece and it's not a knock knack that will get lost. Love the color of this one!

Wow, Laura! I love the color of your jeans/pants. And you can never go wrong with cognac boots. Great outfit for all the snow you have, too. Thank you for joining "Fashion item Friday" or "FiF" as some are terming it. Super fun to have you aboard again. Happy Anniversary to your parents, too. ♥

  3. These pants are gorgeous and I love these boots!

  4. Lost or broken! Come to think of it, jewelry would make a pretty good souvenir, too! Hmmm, I'll have to remember that for next time. ;)

  5. Thank you Renae! And I agree, cognac boots go with everything! :)

  6. Awesome, big, cozy scarf. And I love that loose, cozy, hi-lo sweater. It's great. The colors work so well here.

  7. Thank you Ada! I love that the sweater has silver threads woven through it adding more interest. I wish I could have gotten a better picture of it! :)

  8. The sweater is awesome! The color combinations of your outfit are just right.
