Layering With a Sweaterdress

 Sweater dress-Express (similar, similar) // Chambray-Tilly's (similar) // Leggings-Old Navy // Boots-Etienne Aigner via Shoes.com (similar) // Boot socks-Souvenir // Belt-TJ Maxx (similar) // Cluster bracelet-eBay // Crystal bracelet- Groopdealz

I love this sweater dress, but used to wear it only one way: with a long sleeved shirt and colored tights underneath. Since I am typically cold so I always layer with short sleeved sweater dresses. I never would have thought to layer a collared shirt underneath a cowl neck, but took inspiration from this pin. I love the effect of two different necklines!

  4. Very cute! Why do so many sweater dresses have short sleeves? Layering another shirt under it totally solves that problem. You look fabulous, especially the boots. :)

  5. I love it! So cute and comfy and seasonally appropriate (for you, I'd be sweating my butt off. Is it weird I'm jealous?).

  7. My question exactly! Kind of defeats the purpose of making a knit dress to keep you warmer. :)

  8. Well I was sweating my but off this summer so I was a little jealous of how you got to layer. I guess we are even! ;) Besides, probably next winter (right?) you will have the joy of experiencing a midwest winter again!
