Man oh, man. I don't know why I can't help myself, but as soon as a new month rolls around I typically blow most of my budget in the first week or so (well, not counting my reserve funds). This month is no different. I finally ordered the Hunter boots I've been wanting since spring and then I put in a fairly large order at thredUp ($10 referral code here). Can't wait for my orders to arrive! I got quite a few skirts (even a leather pencil skirt!) and a couple tops that I think will be great additions to my wardrobe. Am I the only one that loves getting my 'allowance' at the beginning of each month?

Haha I used to do the same thing! I think that's why I switched to the yearly budget, because I was always blowing it right at the beginning of the month. I love your cozy outfit today, the oversized sweater looks so comfortable!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute outfit! I wish I had been able to grab that skirt in my size but I kept waiting for it to go down in price and missed out.

Dropping by from Three-fer Thursday! I really should have a monthly/yearly budget, it would keep me from buying silly things I don't really need :) Love this outfit, I want a chunky sweater like that!

Not at all! I usually blow my budget for the next month as soon as my budget post goes up haha. Not this month, though. Nothing has really struck me yet. I love this look, though! It's super cozy-looking, and cute to boot! (Get it? Boot? haha I'm so punny.)
ReplyDeleteoooo that leather pencil one sounds amazing- i really want an A-Line one like that. and haha i'm the same way with budgets, zero self control over here. and i love this outfit- the sweater with that skirt is so pretty
ReplyDeletePS- I'm popping by from the Tres-Chic Fashion linkup!

Very cute outfit! I love your boots! Hugs Beata
ReplyDeleteI don't know if that would be a good idea for me or if I would end up with a ton of new winter clothes every January! ;)
ReplyDeleteBummer! I was lucky and found it in the clearance section at my Target.
ReplyDeleteI have noticed a budget helps me make a list of things I want. But it doesn't always keep me from buying unnecessary clothes! :)
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear I am not alone! You got a lot of great things last month. After my boots and thredUp order, I am going to try to not get anything else this month, but we shall see.
ReplyDeleteIt was only $7 so I couldn't help myself! I have seen some adorable a-line ones, but unfortunately not in my price range.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Ashley!
ReplyDeleteThank you Beata! I love these boots, too. They go with everything!
