Cooler Colors

Shirt, skirt, and wedges- Target; Belt, bubble necklace, cluster bracelet, and white enamel bracelet- eBay; gold chain bracelets- gifts

I wore this to Open House at our school last week. I must have thought the cooler colors would help me stay cool. It didn't work of course. It's been a busy couple weeks getting used to me being at work again. Especially because my hours are different this year so we can just go back to what worked last spring! We are slowly getting the hang of it all and Claire is getting used to full days at daycare (mostly in regards to her napping or lack thereof). Thank goodness for the first week of school only being 4 days!

  1. Is this navy and black? I really like the combo but can't tell the color of the skirt. I love the pop of green too! Thanks for the great outfit idea! I hope your daughter does well this week! Susan

  2. Thanks Susan! The top is cobalt and the skirt is navy. We had to take pics at night so we were struggling with lighting. I tried to lighten the pictures, but they just looked overexposed. :)

  3. Thank you Laura! I hope you didn't think I was criticizing! I just love the outfit and wanted to be sure of the color combo. I am trying to learn how to coordinate colors. This color combo is beautiful and I love it with green! Thanks for responding. I am going to see if I have anything in my closet that would be a similar style! Blessings! Susan

  4. Not to worry, I didn't think that at all! I am learning how to coordinate colors, too. I used to pair everything with neutrals. It's fun taking little chances!

  11. I have that skirt, too! It's one of my favs. I tend to be pretty blue and white when wearing it though. I like the pop of green! I should try that next :-)

  18. It's one of my favorites, too! I was pretty impressed with how much it goes with (but I love pairing everything with navy). I've worn it with teal/turquoise and hot pink, too!
