Hurray for the holidays! The holiday season is officially upon us and I am so ready for it! And so is Simply Earth. Their November Box of essential oils and recipes is incredible. The theme is centered around Gift Giving and they came up with so many wonderful recipes you can enjoy for yourself or make to give to friends and family. There is nothing like a homemade gift. In fact, there is one that I had the kids make they cannot wait to give to their relatives! Let’s see what’s in store!

This month’s Simply Earth November Essential Oils box contains paperboard lip balm tubes, lavender buds, test tubes, and 4 specially curated essential oils. This month’s essential oils are:
- Cassia- supports immunity, calms
- Lime- energizes, cleans
- Candy cane- holiday aroma
- Winter Spice- soothes, seasonal aroma
This month’s recipes are Gift Diffuser Blend, Forever Thankful Roll-On, Candy Lip Balm, DIY Air Dry Clay Diffuser Ornament, Oatmeal Cookie Sugar Scrub, and Winter Joy Bath Salts.
Gift Diffuser Blend
It’s beginning to smell a lot like Christmas! This cinnamon-y blend with minty and a slight citrus note is the perfect diffuser blend for the holidays. I made sure to mix up a master blend of it and Matt immediately commented on how much he liked it. Typically I don’t care for cassia, but this is just the right amount.

Forever Thankful Roll-On
In all the stress of the holiday season, we all need a few minutes to remember our blessings. This roll-on is the perfect way initiate that positive and cheerful thinking. It’s a nice blend of scents that makes me think about happy holiday memories.

Candy Lip Balm
The perfect alternative to candy for a little extra something in a stocking or gift bag! The minty scent is incredible. And since this recipe makes 2 tubes, you can keep one for yourself and still have another to give away.
Winter Joy Bath Salts
These little test tubes are such an adorable way to give these bath salts this season. They display so nicely. I’m guilty of enjoying some already, and my skin was so soft afterwards. It has a lovely, spicy winter scent.
Oatmeal Cookie Sugar Scrub
There is a warning on this about how delicious it smells and that warning is there for a reason. It’s like a minty oatmeal cookie. I am really excited to use it on my legs and elbows. It will be perfect to help keep my skin soft this winter. I will definitely be making another batch.
DIY Air Dry Clay Diffuser Ornament
If you are looking for a fun activity with your kids this season, this will make a wonderful gift for family members. I would recommend making a half batch. That is what I did and it made 8 decent sized ornaments. We are just waiting for them to dry before we add in the essential oils to the ornaments and make them incredibly fragrant.
ADDED BENEFITS
There are other benefits to the subscription box like being able to add items to your box for free shipping, being able to exchange oils, and being able to gift a month to someone! The Simply Earth box is a wonderful value at just under $40. That includes you get 4 oils, ingredients, recipes, and some containers each month!
Simply Earth provides support for you with their blog containing videos and explanations of each recipe, a facebook group where you can ask questions and share knowledge, an essential oil hero course so you can make your own recipes, and their amazing customer service team!
I also love that 13% of all products go to support organizations that work to end human trafficking. This month the proceeds are going towards Jericho Ministries. This organization is based in Honduras and has a children’s school home, and women’s workshop. Their focus is to serve those who have been exploited though prostitution and sex trafficking as well as children of those individuals. Jericho Ministeries offers safe housing, education, protection, and skills training. A Simply Earth monthly subscription can do good for the environment AND society.
THE NEW RECIPE BOX
If your collection of essential oil recipes is rivaling mine, you may want to check out the essential oil recipe box to help you organize them! It includes blank recipe cards and wooden dividers to help you categorize and organize your cards. It’s wonderful! There is even a notch in the lid so you can prop a recipe card while making the recipe!

Next month’s box sounds amazing! If you want a sneak peek, you can look forward to a candy cane blend and winter spice blend!
