Do you like to make any gifts for family and friends? I often enjoy taking on at least a few craft projects this time of year for a present. Last month Claire, Aveline, and I were able to make some of the Air Dry Clay Diffuser ornaments for friends and family. This month, we made some different ornaments and other recipes that have our home smelling so delicious! Let’s see what’s inside the Simply Earth December box!

This month’s Simply Earth December Essential Oils box contains wooden beads, macrame rope, 2 containers, and 4 specially curated essential oils. This month’s essential oils are:
- Vanilla Woods-holiday aroma
- Bay- uplifts, soothes
- Lemon Eucalyptus- calms, deodorizes
- Bergamot- refreshes, soothes
This month’s recipes are Bright Winter Day Diffuser Blend, Holiday Dinner Support Roll-On, Macrame Ornament, Tassel Diffuser, Christmas Grove Room Spray, and Relax Massage Oil.
Bright Winter Day Diffuser Blend
I’m not a person that really appreciates the vanilla scent, but there is a clean citrus scent that is predominant in this blend. It’s a lovely, bright blend!

Relax Massage Oil
Is your back sore from wrapping all of those presents? The least your hubby can do is give you a nice back rub. Make sure you use this oil. It is incredibly easy to make.

Christmas Grove Room Spray
After seeing how easy this room spray is to make, I plan on making several more in different scents. I always save these spray bottles from the boxes to use on other recipes. This is a lovely scent and quick recipe!

Macrame Ornament
Claire made this ornament and actually choose to use the Candy Cane blend on it from last month! After we hung it on the tree, I catch the scent when walking by and it’s always uplifting. This ornament is a nice one to personalize.

Tassel Diffuser
This diffuser Avie helped me make and put the Vanilla Woods blend on. She really enjoyed brushing out the tassels! It combines scents with the Macrame Ornament for a nice holiday scent by our tree.

This box also contains a recipe card for a Holiday Dinner Support Roll-On to aid in healthy digestion. I haven’t made it yet, but I can foresee us needing it in the next few weeks!

ADDED BENEFITS
The Simply Earth subscription box is a wonderful opportunity to begin using essential oils more and making useful and fun items you can use in your home. I learn things every month! This month I was so excited about the lava rock diffuser so I can begin using essential oils in my shower every day. It will replace my shower bombs and will help save me some money!
Simply Earth sells essential oils at honest prices AND teaches you how to use them in recipes as well as sharing what the uses the oils have. If you have children, the box is a great way to spend some time with them making things together! Use my referral link and my code IDODECLAIREFREE and receive a $40 gift card towards a future box or something else on their site AND a free Bonus Box!! This box contains all kinds of little extras to help you make the recipes.
There are other benefits to the subscription box like being able to add items to your box for free shipping, being able to exchange oils, and being able to gift a month to someone! The Simply Earth box is a wonderful value at just under $40. That includes you get 4 oils, ingredients, recipes, and some containers each month!
Simply Earth provides support for you with their blog containing videos and explanations of each recipe, a facebook group where you can ask questions and share knowledge, an essential oil hero course so you can make your own recipes, and their amazing customer service team!
I also love that 13% of all products go to support organizations that work to end human trafficking. This month the proceeds are going towards Jericho Ministries. This organization is based in Honduras and has a children’s school home, and women’s workshop. Their focus is to serve those who have been exploited though prostitution and sex trafficking as well as children of those individuals. Jericho Ministeries offers safe housing, education, protection, and skills training. A Simply Earth monthly subscription can do good for the environment AND society.

THE NEW RECIPE BOX
If your collection of essential oil recipes is rivaling mine, you may want to check out the essential oil recipe box to help you organize them! It includes blank recipe cards and wooden dividers to help you categorize and organize your cards. It’s wonderful! There is even a notch in the lid so you can prop a recipe card while making the recipe!

Next month’s box sounds amazing! If you want a sneak peek, you can look forward to a citrus burst blend, patchouli, pine, and clary sage.
