Life got so busy I actually didn’t have the chance to make some of the recipes in my last menu planning post. We headed out of town for all of Memorial Day weekend so I didn’t cook as much. I am still planning on trying the Sweet & Spicy Korean Meatloaf and Halfway to Heaven Bars though and hope to make them for dinner tonight. One thing I did manage to make were the Salted Caramel Butter Bars. They are so yummy! The little bit of salt on top is next level! Another recipe I made is the sauce for these Garlic Butter Honey BBQ tacos. We ate the sauce with pork that Matt smoked and it was the perfect complement. I used a little bit of hot honey in the sauce. It’s a nice alternative to the traditional southwestern flavors.
Over the next 2 weeks I am hoping to try out some new cookie recipes and a Sweet potato sloppy joe bowl that looks really good. I like that I can cook sweet potatoes in the air fryer or slow cooker and not turn on the oven when it gets hot.
