I’ve often professed my love for Dashing Diva products. Their nail wraps and Glaze Line (gel nail wraps that are UV cured) are 2 of my favorite long-wearing and affordable nail products to use at home. When they recently came out with their first nail polish line I was immediately intrigued. Sometimes nail polish wraps can be hard to fit and apply. I have rather thin nails that break easily. If they are too short, nail wraps are hard to apply. It’s nice to have a nail polish option that lasts more than a few hours and doesn’t take ages to dry. Of course I purchased several polishes as well as the nail polish remover needed. After trying these polishes in different ways over a period of several months, I’m ready to share my honest review of Dashing Diva One Gel Polish and remover.
Background
Dashing Diva’s One Gel is a streamlined, all‑in‑one gel nail polish designed for at‑home use, combining base, color, and top coat in a single application cured via LED light—promising up to 14 days of glossy, chip‑resistant wear. The line includes a range of gorgeous shades—from creams to shimmers—and even magnetic polishes, which are a whole experience in themselves. Application is easy: prep the nail with an alcohol wipe, apply one even coat of One Gel, cure it under an LED lamp, then optionally apply a second coat and cure again. Removal is easier thanks to their “bubble‑off” system using the companion Magic Off remover kit.
As a brand, Dashing Diva has built a reputation since the early 2000s on the idea of “bringing the salon experience home.” Known for DIY-friendly innovation—gel strips, press-ons, magnetic and gloss finishes—they constantly track trend feedback to rapidly roll out new shades and formats . They pride themselves on quality (vegan, 21‑free formulas), convenience (quick cure, long wear), and accessible salon‑grade results.

right after applying and curing
How to apply One Gel like a pro:
-
Clean and push back cuticles, then wipe nails with prep pad.
-
Apply one smooth coat of One Gel polish, avoiding the skin.
-
Cure under LED lamp per product instructions.
-
Optionally, apply a second coat and cure again.
-
After final cure, apply cuticle oil for nourishment.
-
To remove, use their Magic Off kit for safe, peel‑away removal without damage.
Magnetic vs. Regular Gel Polish

The magnetic One Gel polishes are absolutely stunning. With a small magnet (sold separately, but you can use a strong kitchen magnet), you can create beautiful, cat-eye or wave-like effects that shift in the light. It’s fun and surprisingly easy to do—but here’s my tip: apply two thin coats. If you go too thick, only the top will cure properly, leaving a gooey bubble underneath that can ruin the whole nail.
I love using these polishes for pedicures too. It’s much easier than trying to get a wrap or gel strip to fit those tiny toenails, especially when you’re contorting yourself on the bathroom floor after the kids go to bed!
A Few Real Mom Truths
I wish I could say this polish lasts forever without fail—but let’s be honest. If you’re rough on your hands (hello dishes, bath time, or general toddler-wrangling), you might experience lifting or even a full polish pop-off. I’ve had it happen even when I prep my nails properly especially if I was using my hands a lot while cleaning. Also, if your nails are soft or bendy, the polish can sometimes crack or chip where your nail flexes.

after 3 days of hard wear
That said, I’ve had great results. For me, it’s best for special events or date nights when I don’t have time to do my nails properly. The results are very professional looking and the entire process takes me about 10 minutes. My favorite is to use this polish for a pedicure. So often I get wear on pedicures from running. But Dashing Diva One Gell polish lasts longer and has a beautiful long lasting shine.
Why I Keep Reaching for It
-
Fast application: The learning curve is fast. Much quicker than wraps or glaze strips—great for nights when you want to squeeze in a little self-care without staying up late.
-
Affordable: One bottle gives you many manicures or pedicures for a fraction of the salon cost.
-
Beautiful results: Especially the magnetic ones—they look like something you’d pay $50+ for at a salon.
The Bubble Off Remover: Does It Work?
Yes—and it’s kind of fun to use! Dashing Diva’s Magic Off Bubble Remover is designed to gently lift off One Gel Polish without the harshness of acetone soaking. And it does work—with a few tips:
-
Apply a fairly thick layer of remover. A thin layer won’t cut it.
-
It takes over 2 minutes to bubble up. Be patient.
-
You may need to reapply a second coat to fully lift stubborn spots.
-
A wooden orange stick is super helpful to gently slide the polish off once it starts to lift.
And a big note: don’t pick at your polish to remove it! I know it’s tempting, but it will take the top layer of your nails with it and leave them weak and damaged. Let the remover do the work—it’s worth the extra few minutes.
Final Thoughts
In review, Dashing Diva One Gel Polish is a decent in-between option for moms like me: faster than wraps, easier than salon appointments, and better-looking than regular polish. I especially love the magnetic shades and effects you can create. It is also simpler, faster, easier to remove, and less damaging than typical gel polish. Is it completely chip-proof? Not always—but for the price, speed, and convenience, I’ll take it, particularly for pedicures.
If you’ve been curious about trying a real gel polish at home, I’d say start here—but keep those coats thin, cure them well, and don’t skip the prep. You might just find your new favorite mom hack.
