As a rule, I try not to make many December clothing purchases, and December clothing purchases 2025 were especially minimal. Between not wanting to spoil potential gifts from my husband or kids and being busy shopping for everyone else, clothing usually takes a back seat this month. That said, I did pick up a few affordable finds from Amazon and Goodwill—and was lucky to receive several beautiful winter pieces through brand collaborations that I’m genuinely excited to wear.
Overall, my December clothing purchases 2025 stayed intentionally small, affordable, and practical. A mix of budget finds, thrifted pieces, and gifted items helped round out my winter wardrobe without overbuying during a busy season. This kind of mindful shopping is what works best for me in December—and I love starting the new year without buyer’s remorse.
For January, I’m not looking to add to many items to my closet. There a couple of other gifts I got that I need to try on. I’m on the look out for a cashmere navy sweater, but I’m in no rush. What is on your wish list for January clothing purchases?
