How many things do you have on your social calendar? Ours just keeps getting more and more full! We have lots of family activities, a couple of work parties, and other events planned with friends. I did some Chicwish shopping earlier this fall and was very impressed with all of the pieces. This time around I focused on pieces that were better for chillier weather and maybe a couple of holiday parties and I’m sharing all of the details on my outfits and details on Chicwish if you want to place an order of your own.
What is Chicwish?
If you have never heard of Chicwish before, here is some brief background information. Chicwish was founded in 2011 and has teams in the U.S., U.K., and Asia. This boutique-style website is focused on providing vintage-inspired and handmade collections as well as fashions that fit a cosmopolitan look, with a blend of East and West.
This floral dress is deceptive when you pull it out of the bag. It is a lot of fabric, but once belted has a flirty twirl. It’s made of silky, satin fabric that feels lovely to the touch. I’m wearing a size small here.
Who can buy clothing on Chicwish?
While their website primarily targets the female customer, they do carry some children’s clothing and cute Mommy and me sets! I haven’t tried the children’s clothing yet, but I have certainly done some window shopping. The pieces they have are adorable!
This pink bow top and layered tulle skirt were two of my favorite from this haul. I love the feminine feel they have and they look fantastic together. For size reference I’m wearing a small in the top and XS-S in the skirt. Pair this skirt with a Christmas top for the perfect holiday party outfit!

I have tried clothing from all of the categories except accessories and swimwear. My experience with all of the categories have been good as far as quality, sizing, and overall value.
How cute is this preppy tweed cardigan? Tweed is one of my favorite fabrics because of the texture and beautiful mix of colors. The gorgeous brass buttons also add interest, too. I paired it with leather for a little edge.
What are the prices like?
I have found the prices to be very budget friendly overall. Here are a few examples of general average price ranges at Chicwish.com:
- Long-sleeved blouses and sweaters: $40 – $70
- Skirts: $30-$50
- Pants: $40-$50
- Dresses: $50-$80
- Coats: $70-$100
- Active Wear: $40-$50
Prices can always vary, but generally most items in each category are within those ranges. There are typically sales to be on the lookout for as well.
If I were only to keep one item it would be this stunning pink feather dress! I don’t even care I have absolutely no place to wear it. It makes me feel like a fairy princess! The white fur coat is even more glamor! If you need a coat for a special occasion, I recommend this one. It feels amazing and is surprisingly warm!
Do the clothes look like the photos?
There is nothing worse than receiving an item that looks nothing like its website photo. But everything I have received from Chicwish looks exactly as pictured. There is absolutely NO deception going on here! Even in reviews, reviewers noted over and over again how the clothing they received looked exactly like the photo on the retailer’s website.
You can never go wrong with stripes! The button up and collared neckline of this striped sweater caught my eye. It looks super cute casually with wide leg pants and red flats!
WHAT IS THE SIZING LIKE?
I found the sizing to generally run TTS. All of the items I ordered for this Chicwish review were a size small except one and they fit well. The only thing that is a bit tight is the black and gold brocade skirt below, but skirts tend to run tight on me due to my body shape. If you have questions or concerns about sizing I would recommend you visit the Size-information page on its website to be sure about the size of the product you are ordering. Each garment has the sizing details listed which really helps determine which size you should order.
Something a bit different about Chicwish is that some of their items, particularly tops and sweaters are done in a range. So the cardigan I am wearing above is a size S-M. Most of the time I would say these items are closer to a size small. A couple of items like the rust colored dress below and black skirt above are size XS-S. These seem to fit close to a size small as well.
I found the crossover style of this coral dress to be extremely flattering. It’s made of a thick knit material that is very comfortable to wear because of the stretch. It’s also nice and warm. Add brown, navy, or ivory tights for some extra warmth. I’m wearing a size XS-S.
If it doesn’t work out?
So what if it doesn’t work out? No worries! The brand offers 30-day free returns. Items must be unworn, unused, and in original packaging with tags still attached. To start your return, simply contact the brand for a return slip and further instructions. Easy peasy!
With affordable prices and a wide selection of clothing, it’s easy to say that you’ll get a pretty great bang for your buck! Besides, there are plenty of promotions always running so you can get an even better deal on pieces. The quality of clothing seems to be consistently reliable.
