This Barbie-licious pink in my top, boots, and fabulous pink bag is certainly not weak by any stretch of the imagination. When my in-laws stayed at our house the weekend after Thanksgiving, they were kind enough to watch the girls so Matt and I could have a date night. I received my absolutely gorgeous pink Teddy Blake bag the day before and knew I wanted to create a Barbiecore date night outfit around the purse. While I certainly love pink, I avoided going full on “Barbie girl” by adding neutral elements with my white houndstooth pants and jacket.
Since Barbiecore is so on trend right now, see what you have in your closet to add to your outfits. I would recommend a bold, bright pink. If you mix pink shades, make sure you keep them in the same color family. Some pinks have more of a red undertone while others have more of a purple. I laid everything out to ensure these pinks complemented each other. To be fair the shoes are a bit more of a purple undertone, but since they are far from the top and bag, it still works.
What do you think of the Barbiecore trend? Would you wear it?
