I can’t believe how right on budget I was for my January clothing purchases, especially with the amount of items I purchased. After super low months of spending in December and November, it was probably time I actually shelled out some money. Haha! There were several end of year sales that I took advantage of.
Last month I mentioned I was in need of new jeans. I know skinny jeans are not on trend, but I do still wear them and think I need a few in my closet. But since I’ve been running more and more, my old jeans are too tight in the thighs! #runnerproblems I was finally able to get a go-to pair of medium and dark wash jeans from Old Navy. I tried a few other stores, but Old Navy always seems to fit me best. Then I found another pair of straight leg jeans and amazing flares that I just need to hem a bit so they are the perfect length.
Express and Loft Outlet had some really good sales and cute items so I grabbed a few things to freshen up my closet as well. I was excited to work with Vivaia and the Cuccoo line of shoes from Shein to try out knit shoes this month. Vivaia shoes are more expensive, but the soles are definitely more padded and I find them more comfortable. Cuccoo seems to run a bit bigger as well. Both of the knit tops of the shoes are really comfortable, especially if you have wider feet. They really stretch to accommodate. If you haven’t tried knit shoes, I would recommend!
I don’t have anything on my wishlist for February clothing purchases, but I might one a few things for spring break. We just booked our flights to visit my in-laws in Arizona and I can’t wait!
