While Shein is known primarily for fast fashion, it has recently started some really neat programs to help broaden their scope. I’m really happy to see them using recycled fabrics in some of their items. Another change is by introducing the Shein X program. Shein created the Shein X program to help Indie fashion designers design clothing to be produced and sold by Shein while they share in the profits. It’s a really neat concept. This floral mini skirt was one of the items I selected from the Shein X program. I absolutely love it! The bright colors and modern floral print are super cute. And surprisingly, this floral mini can be worn with many different colors and types of tops. The first time I wore it, I paired it with a new sweater from Aventura (super soft!).
My initial impressions on my Shein X items are fairly positive. The pricing is consistent with typical Shein items. This floral mini skirt is only $16 right now and you can still use my code Q4idodeclaire for 15% off. It seems to be decent quality. The pockets are all real, the fabric is like a typical mid thickness denim, although the hardware could be a bit nicer. I would say the sizing seems to run a bit larger. I ordered a size small in almost everything and it worked out. Normally I size up to a medium.
