Happy New Year's Eve! I hope you all enjoy your night tonight and usher in the new year however you'd like...even if that means sleeping through it! So, I've been wondering. Are you a year round goal-setter or do you make resolutions each New Year? When I was younger, I would make resolutions for myself. Nowadays I am far more likely to make lifestyle changes and set long-term goals. I find when you don't wait until the new year, and set goals for yourself throughout the year, you are far more likely to make lasting changes. I've been a runner off and on for most of my life. Recently we joined a local gym and we've been enjoying getting to know it AND getting back in shape by going a few times a week. Due to some IT band issues, I always have to ease into running so I do a combination of treadmill and elliptical. The gym has been great for making sure I get enough cardio while I increase my mileage on the treadmill.

Since I haven't run in a few years, I was excited when Yvette contacted me to try out a few of their items. The timing was perfect! I received a sports bra and leggings from them. As a runner, sports bras are super important to me and you know the minute you begin running if it's a good one or not. The sports bra I received was sized according to band and cup size. Many sports bras are S, M, L or ignore cup size completely and just go by band size. I ordered my typical size and it fit really well. It's supportive without being too constrictive. The zip front made it much easier to put on and take off, too. Matt always gets a laugh because with my other sports bras I have to do some very odd contortions! The leggings were great, too. I sized up to a medium, but I could have gone with my typical size small. They are comfortable and stretchy to allow for a nice range of movement. The material is on the thinner side so it's not a compression material at all if that is what you are used to. Overall, they are two items I am happy to have in my workout rotation and look forward to getting more miles in with them!

Wishing you all a safe and Happy New Year's Eve!
