I've been having some amazing luck with items from Amazon so far this year. My lounge wear needed some serious overhaul and amazon has been great for cheap, comfortable, and cute options. My husband ended up getting some new joggers and they were so thick and cozy I hunted them down for myself. They aren't made in women's sizing, but they did in boy's so I grabbed an XL in boys. I probably could have gone with a L, but nevertheless I still love them and put them on almost as soon as I walk in the house after work! You can't beat the price either! I also got a white and pink version of the Abercrombie quilted fleece. I sized up to a medium and it's perfect. My oldest daughter is sad they don't make them in children's sizes because she really wants one. So if you see one in girl's size, please let me know!
I finally used the remaining credits I had at ThredUp. I scored a pretty yellow blouse, bright pink sweater, and leather jacket for under $40 after a coupon and my credits. I've been wanting a light brown leather jacket for some time and was so close to splurging on the BlankNYC taupe one, but for some reason held back. I am glad I did. After thinking about it and what I love about my black moto jacket, the one from ThredUp I decided the style from ThredUp would work better for me. If you've never tried ThredUp, you should! I've gotten so many great deals there. You can get $10 credit if you sign up through my referral link here. Overall my experiences have been positive. I like shopping there, but don't think that selling to the site is great. You get pennies on the dollar so I prefer to sell my things myself or just donate them and get a tax write off.
Target had exactly what I was looking for in the swimsuit department. I had wanted a patterned one-piece suit that wasn't too 'mom-like' and this one fit the bill perfectly. Right now they have free shipping and free returns and Buy 1 Get 1 50% off of swim so if you are looking for a new swimsuit now is the time!
For next month I think I might want some new sandals, but otherwise I'm not on the hunt for anything specific. What about you? I'd love to hear what's on your wish list for spring!

I love the rbight colours of everything you got - perfect for spring! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's autumn here but still so very summer-like so I haven't bought much, just one tee this month! I am waiting for the colder weather so I can get all my winter wardrobe pieces out and see what if anything I need to buy more of. The humidity is sticking around though, ha!
Hope you are having a good week so far! After being so busy last week, I'm enjoying a relatively quieter week and looking forward to the Easter long weekend.

You always do so well with your budget and I love seeing these posts! I ordered a straw bag from Amazon about a month ago and I’m still waiting for it to come in the mail! I made a mistake not researching where it was coming from, pretty sure it’s china! lol

I have that pink and white fleece and I just love it, although the collar on it annoys me at times. I just love that swimsuit you got at Target!!

I am going to shop today! Defenitely on my wishlist are slingbacks! Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteGreat pieces and what a bargain shopper you are. My mother would adopt you in a heartbeat. She is the ultimate good shopper.
ReplyDeleteLove the bathing suit. I have bought all of my latest suits at Target but our store never has anything I like. I get them when I am out of town! I need one that covers up to the chin and down to the knees. My calves and face don't have too much cellulite. Yet. If you see anything out there, holler.
A lovely selection, thanks for sharing your choices. Looking forward to breaking out my spring outfits - once this weather changed for the better! thanks for linking up with me on the #chicandstylish party. x Jacqui Mummabstylish
ReplyDeleteWow what an amazing assortment of clothes! I love ThredUp, it's fun being able to use credits for items we wouldn't find anywhere else!
ReplyDeleteWow! Now that's the kind of shopping I am into and is totally hubby approved 😆. I might just hold off on the bathing suit purchase and check out target when I am in the US next week. Thanks.
