Easy Ways To Naturally Look Your Best

Women are very pressured in this day and age to plaster on makeup because of what we see in the news and on celebrities on television. We compare ourselves to others when we shouldn't. We should be proud of who we are and what we look like. Beauty doesn’t have to come from makeup, it should come from within and show on your natural skin. So here are some easy ways to look your very best naturally.

Look after your hair

Your hair is one of the first things that someone will notice about you, so if you want to feel comfortable in your own skin then the first step that you should be taking is by looking after your hair. Be careful of how much heat and pressure you’re putting on your hair each time that you wash and style it. If possible, try not to wash your hair too regularly. Washing your hair more often actually makes it become greasy much faster because your head produces more oil. More washes can eventually harm your hair. If your hair needs a bit of freshening up between washing, try dry shampoo to give it a boost until you’re next planning on washing it. I also wear my hair up in a pony tail, braid, or bun to make it last an extra day or two between washes.

Pamper your face

People also notice a person’s face, especially their skin. If you’re looking tired and stressed out it can show on your skin and make you feel self conscious. Then you pile on makeup to hide that. Instead, try pampering your face more regularly than you normally would and you will notice the difference in how much brighter it looks and more hydrated too. Take a look at faceserum.com to see what kind of serums could help your skin type and problem areas.
Keep your teeth clean
While you probably brush your teeth as recommended by dentists and hygienists, getting your teeth professionally cleaned every now and then will make your smile brighter than normal, and really make your mouth and smile something to focus on. Plus, the best makeup anyone can wear is a big smile! You can also get home teeth cleaning kits which promise to whiten your teeth after just a few uses, so take a look and see if there’s anything you could be using!

Drink plenty of water

A common reason for your skin looking dry, dull, and spotty is because you’re not drinking enough water for your body to flush out any toxins and also hydrate your skin to look it’s best. Set yourself a challenge of drinking 2 liters of water a day and you will notice the difference from drinking more water sooner than you think! Drinking water will also help with the condition of your hair, the brightness of your eyes, the strength of your nails, and even the plumpness of your lips. You can’t go wrong with it!

All of these tips can really help you look and feel your best naturally, and without the need for extra makeup! Remember to feel confident in the skin you are in!

  6. These are good tips! I constantly drink water as it's so hot here, but know I could do more, especially in summer :)

  7. I have started drinking more water this month and it really does help! I really need to try to not wash my hair every morning. I have oily hair, but maybe if I get out of the routine it'll be less oily after it adjusts. I'm really glad I invested money into Invisalign, too and whitening to get my smile back to where I wanted it!! But, it was 2 years of wearing those darn trays!!

  8. Great tips! Skin care is so important and I have always been aware of the products that I use on mine and actually try not to use a lot of skin care products because of their chemicals this includes make up. I also drink a lot of water. I feel so much better after having a cup. Hope you are having a great week and happy Friday!
