The athleisure look isn't going anywhere soon! With part time schedule this year I am learning to embrace it more on my days off with my daughter. Recently I've been noticing the adorable tennis shoes in different materials and colors that are in stores now. Fun tennis shoes can make an athleisure outfit look more purposeful and not like you've just walked out of the gym. The sleek styles or lux material available can add interest to an outfit. I found this adorable velvet pair on Rosegal for under $25 and they were exactly what I have been looking for. The burgundy color and velvet material help distinguish these from regular workout tennis shoes. I would recommend sizing up when you get them though. I am a 7.5, sometimes an 8, and the 39 fit with thin socks, but nothing thicker. Width wise they are perfect for my slightly wide feet though. Now I know how comfortable these are, I am on the lookout for a blush pair!

  6. And these fun shoes work for every age group, Laura!!
I had a reader suggest this topic for a future series, so I have it on my schedule for April!! None of us have shoes this cool though!! Have you tried wearing them with a skirt yet? I've tried it once, and I liked the photos although I wasn't crazy about the look in the mirror. I'd be interested to see your perspective!!
