I was finally able to get a couple good pairs of jeans. My favorite fit of all those I tried on were the Old Navy Rockstar jeans. They have some special Rockstar ones like those with built in sculpting or the Super Soft ones, but my favorite are the original mid-rise. They have thicker denim that really holds its shape all day long. I love the skinny ankle and it's the perfect medium wash I've been wanting. I did get a pair of the Super Soft jeans (my lighter pair) and like them, too. They are very comfortable, but they do stretch out a bit during the day (maybe about a half a size) so I feel like I need to wash them with every wear, unlike the original Rockstar jeans.
I searched for a replacement pair of cognac riding boots, but none of the colors or styles were just right. Instead I think I will take my older pair to a cobbler and see if they are able to work some magic and replace the worn looking heel on my boots. Hopefully it will be a cheaper option, too!
I got some great c/o items this month and was really able to round out my sweater collection for the last bit of cold weather we have. I love the mix of cozy and dressier items I received. I do have some jewelry I got from ebay, but that hasn't arrived yet, so it will be on next month's post.
For next month I have my eye on the Peppin jacket by BB Dakota. I love the blush color and think it would be a great lightweight jacket for spring. Since that is a higher ticket item, I'd like to not spend anything else, but we shall see! What is on your wish list for March?

  4. I was trying so hard to not spend anything for February but I did get a dress!!
I think March is one of those seasons where I'm looking forward to spring so much that I end up buying a couple of items that I can't even wear right away. We'll see how I do this month!

  6. I love so many things that you got this month. That blue plaid cardi, the ruffle dress and pom pom tunic. I've noticed lately that I need to get some new denim soon, a lot of the pairs I wear on regular rotation are getting worn. I do love the ON Rock Star jeans!

  12. Oh that green cami is beautiful! And you already know I love that plaid waterfall coat :)

Reading a lot of US blogs I've heard so many good things about the Old Navy jeans, I'm going to have to stop in there whenever I manage to get around to taking a trip to the US. I'm planning on doing it sometime when the boys are bigger and I can be away for a little longer.

Hope you are having a really good week :)

  14. Yay for getting some good jeans! The rockstars really are quite nice. Though when they are on a good sale, I like the slight upgrade to the Gap 4 way stretch jeans.

  17. Great pieces, Laura! I have my favorite pair of L.L. Bean riding boots that need some cobbler attention, too! I am hoping for the best and I wish your cognac boots some good cobbler healing, too! Thanks for linking up with me On the Edge.
