I've recently fallen for olive! It's such a huge color for fall. With my recent olive button up top I've been looking for more ways to add olive to my closet. For under $20, this swing dress is perfect! It's made of a soft jersey fabric and I am very partial to the darker olive shade. This dress is easily styled in multiple ways for fall and I am showing you two today. I've actually already worn the first version twice! Just a note on sizing, I sized up one size for length to a medium, but the fit is true to size.

For the first look, adding blush as a contrasting color feminizes the look and transitions it perfectly for fall. Lace up flats are a good in between shoe when it's a tad chilly for sandals, but too warm for boots.

Dress-c/o Makemechic | Boots-Sole Society (save, splurge) | Scarf-Zara via ebay (save, splurge) | Hat-c/o MustHaveBox (save, splurge) | Bag-MK c/o thredUP (save, splurge)
For the second look, adding boots, a blanket scarf, and felt hat adds warm for the chillier fall days. I just got these boots in the mail and I am in love! The are exactly what I've been looking in all suede for at a perfect price point (for new members to Sole Society, you can get 15% off and they will be under $150). I would recommend sizing up. I am a 7.5 or 8 and got an 8 and they are perfect. I just need a Pumpkin Spice Latte (or Pumpkin Spice Steamer in my case) and I'm good to go! For even chillier days a vest or moto jacket can easily be added and tights can layered underneath. As olive is practically a neutral, it plays very well with other colors, especially the rich colors of fall.

That is my kind of dress! It looks like a comfortable piece, but still one that is put together...plus the versatility! I agree, olive is such a lovely color for fall. Olive and burgundy, with a bit of mustard mixed in here and there...my go-to fall shades pretty much every year! Olive is definitely taking the spotlight this time around, though. I love both looks you shared with your dress. I can't wait to be able to wear scarves and boots (weather not quite there yet!)!!!
