July was so busy with vacation and other activities so I didn't have much time to do much shopping. I did have quite a few collaborations to make up for that though. The only real shopping I did was with the thredUP clearance event. I have credit (most of which I am trying to save for maternity wear if I am ever able to get pregnant again), so I didn't have to pay for anything and I was able to get brand name tops for under $10! The downside was that most of them are winter wear so I have to wait to wear them. But I am an opportunist and had to take advantage of a good sale like that. The only items I purchased with my budget were a few plain tops so my sister-in-law and I could make some with her cricut when we were visiting. Man, that thing is fun. I can see why people like it so much! #monogrameverything

It was a fortunate month for collaborations. I really do try to pick items I would have purchased anyway, but occasionally I get an item and it doesn't work in my closet or with my lifestyle the way I thought it would and needs to be donated. This month I love absolutely every item though and have worn them all multiple times (apart from the Dezzal dress which I will be wearing in a couple months). I'm not really looking to buy anything next month although I am keeping my eye out for a pair of taupe OTK boots without a heel. I think I would get a lot of use from them this fall.
What are you looking to purchase next month? Any good trends?

  3. I keep thinking I need to do one of these posts. I can't believe you only spent $5 this month, you had a lot of great collab's and ThredUp always helps (which I need to be better about sending clothes to them!). My favorites are the pom pom sandals and that gray dress!

  5. I love your budget picks. It's fun to have a credit with a store, it makes shopping so much more fun!! I am always afraid to use it though in case in a couple of months they get something I really like and end up not having my credit. Thanks for linking up to the-wardrobe-stylist.com. Hope to see you again next week :)

  8. Great picks Laura!! You did awesome! I love it when michaels has their shirts on sale. I think joannes has them on sale for 3 for $9 for basic tees. :)

By the way those sandals are too cute for words.

  11. I'm so impressed with all your awesome ThredUp finds this month! I haven't bought anything from them in a while but I've been itching to... I just need a little patience to scour their selection, they have so much stuff! I also need to get a bag to sell to them too... Love the pom pom sandals too!
