I was finally able to use my saved up Shopbop credits early this month on a Tory Burch tote I have been eyeing a while. With the sale and credits, it took the price down quite a bit and I've been using it nonstop. When I realized how much I use my Greg Michaels tote, I knew I needed a cognac colored one and this one is perfect (although I will say the Greg Michaels one has way better pockets and compartments). I was excited to find the Michael Kors bag on thredUP, too. Ccrossbody bags are so convenient when running around with Claire. This one is a great size and will be a good summer bag for me when I am home with her. The color makes it easy to wear year round, too!
There were a few impulse purchases (I'm talking about you leopard skirt and ebay ring), but overall the costs were low and I think I will get some use from them (the ring is really pretty in person and I'm a sucker for jewelry). I tried to find some different jeans with super skinny ankles. I ordered an Old Navy pair of Rockstars that fit the bill in the ankles, but the waist was odd on me and didn't look right under shirts so the search continues. I am also looking for some new sandals. I tossed a few pairs of mine so right now I only have one pair. Other than that I don't have much on my list. What is on your wish list for spring and summer?

I love those boots! They are so cute and on-trend. I might have to investigate those because I've been looking to add a pair like that to my collection. I love the rings too! (I'm a total ring girl myself :))

I think you got a great mix of classic, long-lasting pieces and more "fun" pieces. I love that cross-body bag and the floral maxi the most! Good luck with the continued jeans hunt--finding the perfect pair is so hard!!
ReplyDeleteI got a cognac bag last month too and think it is a must have- goes with everything and really timeless- you won't regret yours! And I'm the same on sandals- I usually get cheaper pairs every season so I don't feel bad after I've worn them to the ground after a year...there are some cute wrap ones at Old Navy I'm eyeing up with my SuperCash next month!
ReplyDeleteNice stuff and pics.

While the maxi and plaid dress of yours from last month were great, my favorite are the designer bags and that stunning gold leopard skirt. On my Spring list are a few off-shoulder tops, an off-shoulder dress, a chambray/denim shirtdress, laceup sandals, a pair of white Adidas shoes, a new maxi dress, a pair of black distressed skinny jeans and a pair of BF jeans (also distressed). I got every other thing I already had on my list lol.
ReplyDeleteYou bought some amazing things for great prices! I love the leopard skirt. I think that was a great "impulse" purchase.
