Confident Twosday Linkup: All Layered Up

This past weekend I went for cozy by reaching for one of my many thick, cozy sweaters. I always reach for a sweater when I don't feel like actually getting dressed. I also like to take advantage of wearing a pair of distressed jeans. It's nice to occasionally take advantage of wearing jeans to work, but distressed jeans definitely cross the line so they are reserved for weekends (I'd say nights too, but we all know that yoga pants are reserved for that honor).

When I have to leave the house on the weekends (which I tend to avoid mostly due to the cold), I always pull on sunglasses. Sunglasses and lipstick help me feel confident in a super casual outfit. I kind of love that no one knows what you are looking at when you wear them too! Although I have several pairs, these are probably my favorite. The colored mirrored lenses make them such a fun accessory!

  2. You wear your distressed jeans well! :) I'm the same, although my office is casual I can't wear distressed denim - not even on casual Fridays. Since my last clear-out of jeans I've never found another pair of distressed jeans though! Something I admire on others although I don't have any myself.

Thank you for the link up!

  3. You can never go wrong with a cozy sweater. I don't wear a lot of sunglasses in the winter time.

  4. Perfection! I tend to not leave the house unless I have to either when it's cold out. A blanket scarf makes it at least bearable though!

  17. I always feel the same way. I'm all like "I have to wear all my distressed jeans on the weekend! There isn't enough time to fit them all in." LOL maybe I should stop buying them... Sunglasses and a good lip always work.

  47. Sunglasses create a public-friendly mask! I have those eyes that just give away whatever I'm feeling! I feel like (from experience) that my eyes are welcoming so people want to talk to me, even though that's usually the last thing I want while in public! haha
