Confident Twosday: Plaid and Sheath Dress

Holy moly we've made it. It's officially the last day of work before break. I wasn't sure it would actually get here, but it finally did. The hubby and I have had to stay up very late the last few nights to get everything done. As I mentioned last week, we've had a lot of unexpected things going on that have been taking up our time so getting ready for the holidays has taken a back seat for a while. But it all eventually gets done and I am so looking forward to getting the celebrations and time with family started today with our in-laws!
This sheath dress always makes me feel confident when I wear it. I got it for just over $2 a couple years ago while thrifting and have been able to wear it so many ways (see it with pink, purple navy plaid, and black and red). Sheath dresses work better for my shape than an a-line dress (no matter how hard or how many I try) which helps my confidence when I wear it, too. What type of dresses are your favorite fit for your body type?

  9. What a perfect Christmas week look and I can't believe that dress was $2! Wow! I have just the opposite issue with dresses. Sheaths don't look good on me no matter how many I try on! Fit and flare is a pear-shaped girl's best friend!
