First of all, many, many thank yous to all of you who voted for me for the Tulip Twist last Thursday! I ended up winning the gift card! Even after 2 1/2 years of blogging and a weekly link up that focuses on confidence, I still feel down and doubt myself. It was such a lift to see all the votes! Thank you all!!

Now onto the outfit! Initially I debated adding red pants to my wardrobe due to their potential lack of versatility. However they have been an item that are fun to style! Since purchasing them, I have worn them with polka dots, a navy top and camel blazer, and just last week with a striped back sweater. Today I paired them with black and camel and my adorable new headband from Lonye' Lynn. Headbands are one of my favorite go-tos when I want a little something extra with my hair, but don't have the time. They can add color and pattern to outfits or hide a bad hair day. Wide headbands in particular are nice. They look good with hair down or pull back. Lonye' Lynn headbands are very comfortable to wear and fit securely on my head with just the right amount of elastic. I could tell they were quality as soon as I got them out of the box. Come back tomorrow to see how I styled my second one! In the meantime, go check out Lonye' Lynn on etsy. It's full of adorable items perfect for some stocking stuffers!

  12. Look at that SNOW! We got our first big snowfall here too, and it looks pretty similar. Love how the red pants pop out against the white snow backdrop! And the bandanna is super cute.

  17. I was hesitant to get red pants too, but now I'm so sad to have to pack mine away for the winter because I can only do ankle pants for so long.

  21. So good you won the contest first of all. See, I was right - your best Fall/Winter look.

As you know I love headbands and this one you are wearing today is adorable. Red+gold with a gorgeous pattern? Sign me in. I wish I can win one of those from your giveaway recently.

I still need some red skinny jeans. I love how yours fit you and I reviewed those past outfits too. Today's and the one with the striped back top are my favorite. I have always loved red with tan but I don't think I have tried it (at least not in the last 3-4 years). Need to change that soon.
