Summertime means heat and humidity-and typically me struggling to control my hair. Often my solution involves throwing my hair up in a bun. A girl has to have options though! Today I am sharing how I was able to get laid back, beachy waves with the John Frieda® Beach Blonde™ Collection. Even though they are Beach Blonde™, they can be used with any hair color types.
You can find John Frieda® easily at Walmart. The Beach Blonde™ Collection was right with all the other fantastic John Frieda® products.
First shampoo with Beach Blonde™ Cool Dip™ Shampoo and follow up with Beach Blonde™ Smooth Seas™ Conditioner. The shampoo helps to nourish your hair while the conditioner works to help detangle. I noticed how soft my hair was after using them. The refreshing, minty smell of both the shampoo and conditioner are a nice pick-me-up in the morning, too!
After you have towel dried and brushed your hair, spray in the Beach Blonde™ Sea Waves™ Sea Salt Spray liberally all over your wet hair. It’s infused with sea salt and has an amazing coconut scent and helps to add texture to create those perfectly undone waves.
Beginning at the front of your head, take one inch sections of hair and twist together. Repeat until all of your hair has been twisted. This helps create those effortless, beachy waves. If you have curly hair like me, it also helps to control the frizz. It helped me achieve the wavy texture I wanted and not the big curls I typically have.
Once you are done twisting, allow your hair to air dry. Add more Sea Waves™ Sea Salt Spray if you want more texture. You can tousle your hair with fingers to separate the twists if needed. Mine was perfect as is so I didn’t touch it!
This is a great to-go look for summer that takes minutes and looks like you spent much more time on it!
