With summer coming and the air starting to feel more humid, I decided it was time to change my facial care routine. In the winter it’s all about moisture, but my skin isn’t as dry so the products I was using aren’t as effective. I typically have more blemishes in the summer as well so when I had the opportunity to try Rahda Beauty’s Clearing Serum I wanted to give it a chance. After one week, here are my thoughts:
Pros: It didn’t dry out my skin and didn’t make it feel oily either. It contains all natural ingredients including Vitamin C, Retinol, botanical hyaluronic acid, salicylic acid and Niacinamide but no harmful fragrances, dyes or parabens. It’s not tested on animals and I found it to be very gentle on my skin. I didn’t break out from using it. I like that it treats and helps to prevent both acne and fine lines/wrinkles. Many products focus on one or the other.
Cons: Even though I didn’t break out, I didn’t experience a decrease in my breakouts. I didn’t see a change in fine lines either. I only used this twice a day for a week. As with many facial products I may need to use it longer (and I will), but those are my results as of now.
