Confident Twosday: Fur Vest and Button Up

I am definitely not taking credit for this look at all
. I went through a phase of being completely uninspired and turned to pinterest. It always works for me since my board only has outfits I can actually recreate with what is already in my closet.

This outfit worked for two reasons. It gave me something to wear and helped me decide if I want to keep this button up top. I've been really trying to reevaluate all the items in my closet and decide what should stay and what needs to go (to make room for more things of course!). This button up was potentially on the chopping block. I love the color and don't have any other items this shade, but it wrinkles very easily. It's staying for now, but seeing all these wrinkles makes me wonder again. Do you ever waffle back and forth about keeping an item? Typically I am pretty decisive, but there are always a few items that get me!

  8. I love the colour of the shirt! :) I'm like you I always give something a last wear before I decide if I'll keep it or not. Sometimes it doesn't help me make up my mind, but most of the time it does. A good thing to ask is do you prefer this shirt over one of your other button up shirts? If you like even one of your other button up shirts better, you will reach for that one all the time over this one, so it won't really get any wear in your wardrobe, so you can maybe let it go. if you love it just as much then it should stay, it has equal wearing chance :) that's my current method anyway!

Thank you for the link up :)

  9. Love the pinspired look. I hate ironing too, but it is a pretty color.

  10. Ohh! Tricky decision! Because yes, it's a gorgeous color! But high-maintenance clothes, kind of annoying. Lately I've been trying to take more care in noticing when I purchase something whether it's dry clean only, hand wash only, or wrinkles easily. If it's one of those three, I better LOVE it if I buy it.

  11. I always waffle about keeping stuff and before Pinterest I would ALWAYS dump stuff! Now I do the same as you and consult Pinterest first :) You did great ! Such a cute outfit!! XO ~ Casey @ A Little Bit of Cheer

  12. I'm glad you decided to keep this button up for now because it looks great with the vest. But I know what you mean about wrinkly shirts. I'm not a big fan of ironing. ~Cynthia

  14. I am either too busy or too lazy. Anyway, I don't like ironing either so all my clothes must be easy to taking care of. I have to make hard decisions quite often, but I always told myself, only keep the best. If there is even one thing I am not sure about it, I will not keep it or buy it. ;) I am very picky. ;)

Thank you for hosting this link up for us and take care!

The pink /purple shade is very pretty on you. Things that wrinkles easily drives me nuts and I tend to stop wearing it which ends up being donated.

That brown fur vest looks great with the purple button down! I have been trying to find a fur vest now that winter is over on the clearance racks at stores and NO such luck yet.

  29. I love that colour on you! If you don't feel great in it (ie, are going to be thinking about the wrinkles every time you wear it) then I'd say it's time for it to go - you can always get something else in the same colour that you'll love more!

  37. Oh, girl, I'm in that in between feeling about like 75% of my closet right now! I'm not really interested in getting rid of everything I'm on the fence about right now, just because I'd only have a handful of things left in my closet, but at the same time, I also don't like having things taking up space if I'm not going to be wearing them. Especially now that Kevin and I are getting ready to move (and our closet will be much smaller than what we have now), I'm feeling the itch to edit, edit, edit my closet and get rid of stuff that I don't love. I'd say if there are things you don't love completely (like the wrinkliness of your shirt), I'd get rid of it. You don't need to sit and feel guilty about having something in your closet that you don't totally love! ;)
