Blazers Year Round

Blazers are one item I love throughout the seasons. They are a great extra layer in the winter and work nicely as a removable layer in the spring. Instead of a jacket, just wear a blazer in the morning. It is professional and if your building turned off the heat a little early then you are covered indoors as well! Then after work you can slip off the blazer and enjoy the warmer weather! I have quite a few blazers now, but I started with the classics in black and navy.

  8. I personally love blazers, the only reason one can wear them here in S. Fl is if you work in a place that has the AC turned up to snow! LOL my classroom is sometimes cold enough to wear blazers and cardigans. Other than that it's sweltering hot around here most mornings so we don't even have that luxury :)

I am really into blazers, even in the spring now so I can layer it on when it is cold. Love the white button down with the polka dot scarf.

  10. I love blazers. They're so fun to wear, and they can make (almost) any outfit look work ready! I love what you did here pairing the black blazer with the wine velvet pants. The colours are so rich and they look great together!

I am a huge blazer fan too and probably have one in every color of the rainbow & beyond. They really are such a great closet work horse.

  17. I adore this outfit! Blazers always look amazing. I don't wear them too often because I feel too constricted if they aren't ponte. They're a great outer layer for work outfits--I agree!

  18. I own a ton of blazers but I feel like I need a Cobalt one, a red one and one in blackkwhite stripes and then my closet of blazers is complete. But I have all the neutral colors (at least 7 black ones for example) and some fun colored ones like orange, emerald, bright pink and even a floral blazer. I love that you created a suit look.

  19. I only have 1 navy blazer (and haven't worn it in about a year now...) and 1 gray blazer - I wish I had a black one or a black and white striped one, though! I like how they add a little structure to an outfit! :)
