Peppermint Essential Oil: I really like the strong scent of the essential oils I tried. I use it in our diffuser after a long day and it helps me de-stress and relax. I've read about the benefits of peppermint oil to help with headaches. I have issues with migraines so I am definitely going to try rubbing some peppermint oil on my temples next time I feel one coming on and see if it helps! I also plan on using it in a sugar scrub to get my feet sandal ready!
Lemon Essential Oil: Even with all the snow on the ground, this oil is bringing spring sunshine into our home! We've been using it in our diffuser, I made a cleaner with it for our counter tops, and I've been using a few drops in our steam mop on our wood floors. It's such a wonderful scent, it brightens my mood immediately! I would love to try it in a skin care recipe as it is known to be a good astringent, to help cleanse and tone the skin, and delivers Vitamin C antioxidant benefits. I have read some articles that say you can use essential oils in food. I just wish these were food grade to further increase their uses!
Both essential oil bottles are large and I can tell they are going to last me a long time!
