For a short month I got a lot of things! The Loft tees, Everlane tees, pink button up, and black boots were all replacement items in my closet though. I am really pleased with the price I got on the boots. I noticed they went on clearance a couple days after my purchase, submitted online for a price adjustment, and got it later that night! I’ve never tried the INC brand boots before, but so far they are extremely comfortable. And for my slightly wide feet they didn’t need any breaking in which was a huge plus! The Tory Burch flats on the other hand did need some breaking in. I saved up some of my Shopbop credits and nabbed them once my size was back in stock. I know eventually they will be comfortable and they are much higher quality than the cheap ones they replaced in my closet, but I wore them Tuesday and my feet weren’t exactly happy.
The Old Navy purchases and J.Crew skirts were impulse buys. Every closet needs a few though. They are all really fun, comfortable to wear, and were great prices!
As for things that did not work out; I also tried to invest in a nicer ring by purchasing a Michael Kors one, but higher cost does not always equal higher quality and within hours one of the crystals had fallen out so it went right back. I ordered some super cute jeans from ThredUp from Old Navy (check out my referral code for $10 off your first purchase!). I didn’t know they were Rockstar cut and apparently that runs a size small. My future sister-in-law was pretty happy about that since she got them! I will still be looking on ThredUp for them in a bigger size though because they were so cute!
I also got some really great c/o pieces. I have been using my Greg Michaels tote nonstop (review here) and wearing the ring that worked out much better than the MK one I had to return. I am also very excited to style my new red sheath dress from the Pumps and Pushups Collection in March for you all!
I am guest posting for Bri at Work Clothes I Suppose while she is on her fabulous honeymoon so check out my post on layering tips here!
