I loved wearing these pants so much this spring, summer, and fall and was sad when I tucked them in a drawer to wait for warmer weather. Until recently. Why not wear them during winter? Often printed pants similar to these are made of thinner material so aren't the warmest choice in subzero temperatures. I made them work with thick layers on top and my go-to pair of booties. By adding some knee-high wool socks underneath you can keep your legs toasty warm all day!
What do you think of printed pants in winter? Would you wear them?

  2. This looks great! I've been considering pulling out some of my warmer weather pants that are a longer ankle length. I'm always cuffing my pants to wear with ankle boots anyway, so I wonder if the ankle pants wouldn't just work with them too.

  11. I got a pair of really terrific printed pants from Stitch Fix and sent them back, just because they seemed like they'd be so hard to style. I really love how you styled these, though and your shoes are super cute!

I think printed pants are totally doable in the winter--I've been known to wear a pair of tights underneath for a little extra warmth!

  27. I don't wear my printed pants in the winter because I don't think any of my shoes go with them, and it's too cold to wear flats. I really like your sweater!

  30. You know I love patterned pants and this pair of yours is gorgeous. I do the same thing and wear tights or long warm socks underneath my thinner pants.
