Tour Through Blogland

I was incredibly flattered and excited to be featured by Brooke and Erica of Pumps and Pushups in their Tour Through Blogland last Monday. I have really enjoyed reading these posts and finding new blogs and couldn't wait to participate! Here is a little more about me:

1) What am I working on?
I have some fun DIY and recipes I've been working on and have in mind for the holidays. I also am working on a few collaborations I have coming up. I am very excited about everything I have coming up. There is just never enough time in the day!

2) How does my work differ from others in it's genre?
I don't know how different it really is, but I like to really show everyday, casual outfits on a budget. I try to be transparent with my spending and remix items in my closet as much as possible and only post outfits I actually wear. I try to show that anyone can have a closet they love that works for many different occasions on a budget. Oh, and I do like to add in DIY and cooking posts once in a while to keep everyone guessing.

3) Why do I write/create what I do?
I love being a part of such a supportive community and sharing little snippets of my life through my posts. I hope that maybe by showing my process of putting together outfits, remixing my clothes, and building my wardrobe I can inspire someone!

4) How does my writing/creating process work?
I wish I could be more organized in planning. I normally have about a week's worth of outfit pictures to organize ahead of time. I work on editing, putting pictures into posts, and getting the links when I can and then often write a post the night before. If it is a review or budget post I start it earlier. It all depends on how busy I am that particular week!

And now, I have the distinct pleasure of featuring just a few of my favorite bloggers. I hope you enjoy learning a bit more about them and visiting their blogs!

Yalanda of Laugh Anyway
A little bit restless, not quite bored but definitely ready to ditch the idea of settling down for the time being, my husband and I sold our first home, packed up our lives and moved 6,000+ miles west. We are currently fueling our wanderlust in Seoul, South Korea and invite you to tag along! Adventure Awaits!

Ashley of The Cream to My Coffee
I am a 28 year-old living in the great state of Oklahoma. I started my blog a couple of years ago because I was in a style-rut. I still consider myself a fashion amateur, but blogging about personal style has been so fun and I have actually learned a lot about my personal style. I love clothes, but I am on a real-life budget, so I try to be really careful about what I buy.

In my non-internet life, I am married to an awesome guy named Eric, mom to a 90lb ball of fur and about to become a mom to a (non-furry) little boy. I work in student services at a university and I LOVE my job. I also love bacon, decorating, coffee (kind of a given with the blog name) and reading - though not necessarily in that order. I also love blogging - it's my favorite hobby!

Ginny of My New Favorite Outfit
I started my blog about two years ago when I was in a style rut.  Fashion was always something I loved, but in the midst of the busyness of life, I lost a sense of personal style.  I feel like I've regained my style and confidence along the way too.  I work to create mixable outfits that won't break the bank and also enjoying create how-to and styling tips posts as well.
