The Classics

Shirt-Old Navy (similar, camel print one!) | Blazer-Limited (similar, similar) | Cords-Old Navy (similar, similar) | Flats-Target (similar, similar) | Necklace-ebay (similar, similar

This outfit was very close to getting lost in the archives. I wore it a few weeks ago and had the photos all edited, in a post, and ready to go and then forgot about it. Luckily I saved it from the depths of my draft pile to share a rather boring outfit comprised completely of classic pieces. Or is it boring? Classic pieces like striped shirts, blazers, and skinny pants are really the building blocks of a great wardrobe because they compliment any statement piece and pair well together, too!

See how else I've worn this top here, here, and here

  9. I love wearing classics, especially after doing some fashion experimenting or wearing more trendier pieces. It's just a breath of fresh air, and more often than not, becomes a perfect outfit.

Also, wish I could say I had outfit photos lost in the drafts folder, but I don't even have enough to make it through the week right now!

  16. Laura! Every time you wear those cords, I can't get over how amazing they look on you!! And I definitely like this outfit - I'm so much more a fan of classic, simple outfits like this. They just look more "grown up" and professional to me :) In other words, I'm really glad this post didn't get lost in the archives - it's wonderful!
