Confident Twosday: Striped Skirt and Cobalt

Pencil skirt, bun, and glasses equals a bit of a stereotypical teacher/librarian look so I tried to counteract that a bit with heels and statement earrings from Oasap. I've been enjoying my new glasses so I haven't been able to help myself just popping them on each morning no matter what. They are a different shape than I typically go for which makes them all the more fun!

Can Susan from Charming Lucy be any cuter!? She does an amazing job of putting together chic, casual outfits and always looks so put together! I love her inspirational quotes on instagram all the time, too! Susan is such a positive and encouraging blogger I look forward to her posts and comments all the time and am so happy she agreed to co-host today. Make sure you check her blog out!

  11. I was a little thrown by the bun and glasses at first - I almost didn't recognize you! But you look fabulous! I love that striped skirt. Every time I see someone wearing a horizontally striped skirt I think - I should get one... and then I try it on and I don't..... but I love it on you! Great outfit. Happy Tuesday!

  19. Haha, your line about looking like a librarian made me laugh -- because I am one! And OF COURSE I immediately liked your outfit and overall look. Those glasses look great, and I like the simplicity and timelessness of your outfit. Librarian style FOREVER! :)
