I’m curious. What is the trick or treating standard near you? We always have trick or treating the Sunday prior to Halloween, meaning we had it this past Sunday. When Halloween is almost a week away it’s a bit ridiculous I think. But who am I to have a say in regulations like that?
For the 5 years we have lived in our house we’ve never had a trick or treater. I put out pumpkins and turn every light outside and inside the house on with a huge bowl of candy. I can’t entice anyone. In fact I’ve probably repelled them because they think I am weird. Well we finally had two come to the door Sunday! Of course I acted over the top and gave them a huge handful of candy. It’s too bad they didn’t tell their friends though. Well I guess is always next year!
