Sangria

tights | earrings | nail polish | jacket | booties | top | dress | bag

I was recently looking at the Pantone colors for this fall out of curiosity. There are some nice muted colors like the mauve mist, aluminum, and cognac and a few of the typical fall ones. One of my favorite colors for fall is the deep red. It's been maroon, burgundy, oxblood, and now sangria (which I may be partial to, but I do love a good glass of sangria!). I found a great pair of pants last fall in that color and got so much wear from them I'd like to add a few more items to my closet. Which are your favorites?

  5. Ok Sangria it is! I love it's richness; deep and sultry. I just may have to find something wonderful in that color. Thanks for the research and such. Hope you have a great evening! ♥

  7. I do love a good deep red/burgundy/sangria for fall, and these are great picks! I think those boots look so luxe and way more expensive than their price tag. =)

  10. I love this shade!! I need that dress too! It is just gorgeous! And I am happy that they are calling it sangria rather than oxblood. That just sounds yucky;) Gorgeous color - I think I need a dress and a handbag!! Susan

  11. I don't wear that much of Maroon any more. Due to it was my school color. I will have to say the color is starting to grow on me more.

  25. This color (I usually call it BURGUNDY - because it is) I think is in style every Fall/Winter season. Every year they try to come up with a different name for it: wine, oxblood, maroon, cranberry, bordeaux, deep red, sangria. Seriously whatever you call it, it's a great color and one of my favorites for the colder months. Love the booties, leather jacket and dress. So chic and sexy!

  26. Hmmm. To me, this color is definitely maroon - and it's one of my favorites! I tend to think of sangria as a much more purple-y color, almost like a dark fuchsia...but I'm no color expert, haha. That dress is super cute, and I love the maroon jacket! :)
